A few years back, a fella called Dan Webber was doing some experimental coffee roasting via a wood burner, with samples from a farm in Kenya, fueled by his passion for coffee, and some lumps of wood. The result – a Chimney fire, and a brand name!
The fire is well and truly out, but the passion for coffee still burns, and three years later Chimney Fire Coffee is an independent importer and roaster, working out of a hand built, sustainable laboratory – cabin, AKA ‘The Labin’. As well as roasting single origin coffee beans from farmers they have a direct relationship with, Chimney Fire also want to help coffee lovers to become more knowledgeable about coffee, and offer ‘The Labin Coffee Tour’, through Airbnb, where customers are introduced to cupping, and have a roast done specifically to their own taste, sounds good!
Chimney Fire coffee are inviting coffee experts and connoisseurs to their launch event on Thursday the 15th of December, at Battersea’s Square Gallery, SW11 3RA, from 6PM until 10PM. For more info, visit chimneyfirecoffee.com
